Serves as the Commander's principal advisor on system safety, occupational health, environmental management, safety of test, and manages the Commander's mishap prevention program. Assists in providing a comprehensive safety evaluation of new systems. Ensures hazards associated with new systems have been identified and eliminated or controlled to an acceptable level prior to testing.
