JSF maintainers get more workspace

(Right) Maj. Gen. Stephen T. Sargeant, Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center Commander, and Maj. Gen. David J. Eichhorn, Air Force Flight Test Center Commander, cut the ribbon and open the new mezzanine in Building 1810 at Edwards AFB, Calif. , on Feb. 25. The building houses the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter maintenance hangar and the mezzanine provides approximately 6,000 square feet of workspace to the JSF Operational Test Team's hanger for aircraft maintainers. Nearly 120 maintainers from the Air Force's 31st Test and Evaluation Squadron, Navy, Marine Corps, and United Kingdom will use the work space. The project cost $690,000 and was funded by the Ministry of Defence United Kingdom.
