NCOIC, Small Purchases/Contracting Officer (TSgt) - HQ AFOTEC, Kirtland AFB, New Mexico
Roles & Responsibilities: This is an NCOIC position for the Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center Contracting Division. The position serves as a warranted contracting officer for all simplified acquisitions, to include commodity, services and construction. Member will be responsible for processing all activities related to soliciting, evaluation, awarding and administering AFOTEC's small purchases branch requirements. Member may assist in processing Cost-Reimbursement type contracts and large dollar service contracts.
NCOIC, Specialized Contracting Division (TSgt) - HQ AFOTEC, Kirtland AFB, New Mexico
Roles & Responsibilities: Member will serve as a Warranted Contracting Officer for all simplified acquisitions, to include both commodity and service contracts in support of Headquarters Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center (HQ AFOTEC), 5 detachments, and 11 operating locations across CONUS. Responsible for processing all activities related to soliciting, evaluation, awarding and administering AFOTEC's contractual requirements. Member will also serve as an Agency/Organization Program Coordinator. Member may also assist in processing cost-reimbursement type contracts and large dollar service contracts.
Resource Advisor (TSgt) - Detachment 5, Edwards AFB, California
Roles & Responsibilities: Informs AFOTEC CC and Senior Leadership. Reports funding status on 22 test programs and advocates unit’s fiscal accountability. Interprets, justifies, and enforces regulations and policies for the management of GTC, GPC, and DTS programs in support of readiness for 157 unit members. Serves as CC’s financial expert coordinating funding requirements with HQ Financial Working Group and Financial Management Board, optimizing $7M operational test budget for 22 programs. Responsible for formulating, executing, and analyzing Det 5’s $7M O&M and research, development, test and evaluation financial plans.
