AFOTEC honors 2010 outstanding performers Published March 31, 2011 By Headquarters AFOTEC Public Affairs Kirtland Air Force Base, NM -- Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center members were recognized for their achievements during the March 24, 2011 AFOTEC Annual Awards Banquet that honored the outstanding performers for 2010. Dr. Marion L. Williams was the guest speaker for the event. Dr. Williams retired as AFOTEC's Chief Scientist in 2005 after having served in the role since 1980. Dr. Williams is currently an Adjunct Research Staff Member for the Institute for Defense Analyses in Alexandria, Va. He also provides independent consulting with the Department of Homeland Securities and industry. AFOTEC's Commander Maj. Gen. David J. Eichhorn presented Dr. Williams a donation to Noon Day Ministries in his name in appreciation for attending and speaking at the awards banquet. "Every day I continue to be impressed by the many accomplishments of the men and women of AFOTEC," said General Eichhorn. "We are indeed fortunate to have such a talented and dedicated group of Airmen - military and civilian."
